Terms and text messages
Posts.io is a free public community for sharing what you’re making, trying and learning. This page describes the service and the sign-in messages you can request.
Your account and your work
Use contact details and sign-in methods you control. Keep passwords and security codes private. Post work you own or have permission to share, and follow the community guidelines.
You keep ownership of your posts. Publishing allows Posts.io to host and display your work to the audience you choose. Public work can also appear in public pages and feeds. Other people and search engines can read or copy public content. You can edit your profile, delete your own posts and replies, download your account data, or delete your account from Account & security.
Likes and reposts
You can like a post or repost a public original to your profile’s audience. Reposting preserves the original author and link; it does not give you ownership of the writing or photos. You can undo a like or remove your own repost. Private originals cannot be reposted, and blocks and current audience settings still apply. Do not manipulate counts or repeatedly toggle interactions to harass another member.
Private conversations
Use Inbox for respectful, text-only conversations. Unfamiliar senders must wait for a recipient to accept their first request. Recipients can decline requests, restrict who starts a conversation, block a member and report an individual received message. Spam, harassment and attempts to bypass these choices are not allowed. Private messages are stored on our servers and are not end-to-end encrypted; read the privacy details before sharing sensitive information.
Requested security texts
When phone sign-in is available, entering your number and selecting the text-message consent checkbox asks Posts.io to send a transactional security code to that number. Codes are used for signing in, connecting a number, or confirming the account action you selected.
There are no marketing texts, contact invitations or scheduled messages in this program. Each request can send a code and up to two resends. The request lasts ten minutes; requesting another copy does not extend it. A resend can contain the same code.
Standard message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Reply HELP to the sender for message assistance, or use the support address below. Reply STOP to the sender to stop receiving messages. You can also stop requesting codes and use another connected sign-in method. If you rely only on your number, connect a backup sign-in method before losing access to it.
Privacy and support
Your phone number is private and is not used for contact matching. Read how your data works for account information, service providers, retention and deletion details.
For account, privacy or text-message help, email support@posts.io. Don’t send your password, code, sign-in link or session cookie.
